SERVICES FOR OUR STUDENTS
You can expect specialised support at Melbourne. We are committed to ensuring you settle in to student life at the University, and enjoy your time in this wonderful city.
Orientation
When you first arrive, you will have opportunties to get support with your course planning, navigating the campus and learn about all the services available to you. This is also a chance to join clubs and socieities and make new friends!
Housing
Moving can be a stressful time so we have a housing service to help advise you on everything from temporary accommodation, learning your rights as a tenant and searching for vacancies.
Free airport pickup
We want to ensure you arrive safely in your new home. Our free airport pickup service is available to international students (including study abroad and exchange students) commencing their first semester at the University of Melbourne.
Transition workshops
Take part in transition workshops on a variety of academic, cultural and practical topics.
Events and activities
The Melbourne University Overseas Students’ Service (MUOSS) is the official representative body for international students. MUOSS offers support and organises fun events throughout the year.
Student support and emergency contact
We have experienced staff who can assist you with academic, personal and family matters. Our student support service is also the emergency contact for family or friends overseas if they are concerned about the wellbeing of a student.
