Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute (SNG), established in 1975, receives more than 400 students of different nationalities every year and has been developing a concise and efficient teaching method in order to capacitate students to enter academic or professional world. The original and innovative teaching system (Ezoe Method), entirely different from the traditional way of teaching, enables students to learn Japanese more speedily and efficiently. Based on the visualisation of the language, which uses cards in different shapes and colors, students can understand the complex grammar without using their first languages. Furthermore, with the VLJ (Visual Learning Japanese) system, which was implemented recently, students have online access to the studied contents, allowing them to do revisions anytime. In addition to the Japanese classes, diverse extra-curricular activities are held all year around. 

Provided courses:
 - Intensive course: 3 months classes, from Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week. This course has 7 levels from basic to advanced and 3 specialized classes. As options, there are Kanji classes and calligraphy classes.

 - Intensive courses "Jyunbi Kyouiku Katei": SNG is an Institution allowed to issue "Jyunbi Kyouiku Katei" certification, necessary for all applicants from countries whose education years until high school graduation are less than 12 years and who plan to go on to Japanese universities.

 - EJU preparatory course: EJU score is required for Japanese university admission. Classes are offered for free for SNG students. and they are complementary to the Japanese Intensive course's classes. 

 - JLPT preparatory course: optional course for students wishing to further their study for the test (preparation for this test is included in the school curriculum).
