We provide a full ranges of services for students to make sure you enjoy your journey at FPT University

Accommodation

• Dormitory: FPT’s main campus at Hoa Lac High Tech Park is a small suburb, which can provide full services for all 25,000 students. Located in the center of the campus, the dormitories are close to lecture halls, library, canteen, and sports area. Students can enjoy the walking distance from their rooms to the campus center. Each dormitory room is equipped with three beds, along with study desks, bookshelves, closets and a restroom. Free wi-fi is available 24 hours per day
• Canteen & Restaurants:Campus’ main canteen is open during recess and lunch, providing healthy and nutritious options for all students
  The Campus’ canteen has a special role to play in the education, health and well-being of our students and the school community they serve. Care is always taken to ensure guidelines are followed for the safe handling of food. In addition, care is taken to avoid cross contamination of food, especially for students who suffer allergies or from anaphylactic responses.
  Students are encouraged to volunteer their services and assist in the canteens as often as possible. Local food exploration is considered a significant part of students’ lives here at FPTU. However, international students are allowed to use the canteen’s kitchen to cook their own food with the help of canteen’s staffs.
  Other restaurants are available for students’ usage at any given time.
• Recreational facilities:Playgrounds for various types of sports (football, field hockey, table-tennis, etc.) and a well-built gymnasium are available for students to use during their free time or in contest. Staying healthy is the best way for students to keep up studying and working.
  A state-of-the-art swimming pool offer students a chance to practice underwater sports and exercises. Keep a body in good shape is the way to keep a mind clear.
  

Library

FPTU provides a modern and open electronic library with variety of books and updated learning and teaching materials to help students have sufficient source of information to research and study as well as keep up with the rapid development recently

95% of the books used in FPT University’s library are imported from oversea reliable sources. The school has also signed cooperation agreements with libraries of other reputed universities and prestigious presses worldwide such as Pearson Longman, AOTS (Japan Association), McGrall-Hill, Igroup, Willey, BPP Learning Media, etc in providing books and materials for learning and teaching.

Student Counseling

To offer the most favorable studying conditions for students, FPT University provides advisory services on enrollment, and other procedures to the new students who intend to study at FPT University. During studying time, FPT University’s Student Service division is available for international students to come and seek for help in both academic and personal issues. Student Service staffs always try to keep track of students and offer advice or immediate discussion. Seminars on effective study methods are often organized based on students’ demand.

Outdoor Activities (Sports & Fitness, Clubs and Social Activities)

Sports & Fitness: Sports and Fitness at FPTU is about allowing the diverse members of the FPTU community to thrive in a charged atmosphere, where life overflows with activity, sports and movement of all kinds. Fitness, wellness, adventure, sport club and aquatics – you can find it all here. FPTU offers programs, facilities and services for students, faculty and staff to promote healthy and active lifestyles 

Club & Social Activities: With more than 20 clubs at FPT University, ranging from language and academic clubs to sports and arts ones, international students can be a part of an active, well-organized and promising community to improve their communication and teamwork skills as well as expand personal network. Social activities are also held to improve social awareness for students. Furthermore, students have more chances to exchange their cultures via events such as Global Village, or Culture Exchange with international students all over the world.

International Support

For international students, visa is a vital factor during their stay at Vietnam. FPTU’s Student Service staffs are always available to support students in their visa application and extension.  It would help students to save a lot of time and energy as well as avoid complicated administrative protocols.
Pre-arrival support for international students includes airport pickup, academic and cultural orientation to help students quickly integrate with a new environment. Student Service staffs’ responsibility to attend students’ every needs, including administrative support, proves important for them to start their academic study smoothly here at FPTU.

Cultural Exploration

nternational students’ integration with local culture and traditions makes a great contribution during their time here at FPT University. Local activities classes such as language or traditional music classes are open for foreign students in order to help their participation into the local popularity.
Other events are organized regularly includes multi-cultural student festivals, talent shows, beauty contests or language contest. FPT students are supported by PDP program to hold by themselves some recreational and cultural programs at school or dormitory. Field trips are also available for students to join in and explore the locally rich culture of Vietnam.
