We have created an innovative Master's degree in Art Directing for Fashion, a four-year course on contemporary crafts for fashion and a full-immersion course to get an insight into the core craft traditions of Made in Italy.

Master in Art Directing for Fashion

This research-based program introduces creative thinking processes through a non-linear methodology embracing curiosity, intuition and perception. The course is visionary yet practical, embracing all possible concepts within six interconnected areas of study: Craft, Calligraphy, Body, Dress, Imagery, and Space.

WORKSHOPS: craft a bag/shoe & tailor a jacket/knitwear

Polimoda developed a series of "one to one" workshops dedicated to Crafts: four new short programs (two weeks) in which you can learn the manufacturing processes of handmade bags and shoes, up to couture techniques and knitting.

The full-immersion course sets out the constant presence of a master craftsman and the courses will be held within the well-equipped laboratories where one can understand on the field the use of the materials and the production processes.

Undergraduate in Mastering Craft for Fashion

This 4 year program looks at four main areas in the personal development of a craftsman: having vision and intuition, understanding raw materials and using them in a creative way, working with different techniques and finally represent the objects in a performance or a presentation within different contexts.
